Meet Madeline

Hello!

I am so honored you found me! Whether through a friend’s referral or from an in-person encounter, I’m so glad you’re here.

I started this project to blend two things I love (typed notes and poetry) with two more things I love (spontaneity and spur-of-the-moment experiences), giving people a tangible keepsake from an encounter with a stranger.

There’s something unique and daring about letting a stranger write a handful of lines about you…and then handing you the piece of paper with their honest thoughts and impressions. There’s also something thrilling about reading the words from someone who only had a few minutes with you.

My goal and hope is to create a space where anyone can come and go with a paper of encouragement, and maybe a few reminders of what someone else might see in them.
